ACK this post is going up late. I could not get my internet working last night when I was trying to add it to the diva blog, and I cannot get it to work from my ipod. I am missing some program that I need and dont know how to get it.
Well Monday is Memorial Day for those of us in the United States. So what better way to celebrate than with a wonderfully patriotic color combination challenge.
I will be sad to see my Brilliant Blue retire but am excited about the new colors all at the same time. I started out designing a patriotic card but I just was not feeling it so I went slightly another way. Still patriotic but not all at the same time.
This card was designed to fit in one of the open ended envelopes from Stampin’ Up! I really like all of the cards that I have seen over the past few months with the squares with two rounded corners. I have no idea who they originated from or who made the first one I saw, but I love them and they are so not my idea, but I can copy them!
Stamps: Awash with Flowers
Ink: Basic Black, Real Red, Brilliant Blue
Paper: Whisper White, Real Red, Brilliant Blue
Accessories: White Organza Ribbon, Stampin’ Dimensionals
Tools: Corner Rounder Punch
Pin It Now!

Hi Kristen I just wanted to let someone on the design team know that I tried to leave you guys a comment over on the challenge blog, but the word verification part is working properly. It shows the letters, but no box to put it in.
What I was going to tell you girls was:
I always associate red, white, and blue with a patriotic holiday. Thanks for helping me think out of the box with your wonderful non-patriotic projects!
