My project is a Love and Joy Stocking banner. As soon as I saw the Stocking Builder Punch and coordinating Holiday Stocking Bigz die in the Holiday Mini catalog I knew that I needed to make a banner using them both.

Each stocking is unique just like the stockings our family has, each unique to its owner.  The letters sparkle right off of the stocking in person as they are coated with a few layers of Dazzling Details glitter glue.  Of course all things at Christmas need to be tied up with pretty bows, so each stocking is hung with care by a bow. 

 The ends of the banner are anchored with a shimmery snowflake poinsettia.

First EVER UStamp with Dawn and Friends!! Blog Hop - Brag Book

For my project I of course had to use my current favorite stamp set Fabulous Florets. (I hope I have not made you sick and tired of it already.)

This is a fun little brag book to tote around or even a mini scrapbook out of. The pages are made out of Stampin' Up!'s fabulous clear envelopes. You can just slip a picture into the pocket of the envelope or you can take it a step further and decorate the pages like you would a scrapbook. I love making these books and giving them to someone special makes them even more fun. I made this one for my 3rd child who is always amazed at her baby pictures. She is 4 now and will just love to get this book. Here is a sneak peak at one of the inside pages.

Baby Blossoms Box with Punchy Necklace and Blog Candy!

Over the weekend my first project went live on UStamp With Dawn and Friends so I can now share the pictures with you.

Blog Candy Winner and my neat-o birthday present

I just had to show the fabulous birthday present I received last Thursday in the mail.  Here is what it is:

 

 

 

 

 

 

This is a rubber stamping mat.  I had looked for it at a local big box store and could not find it and a sweet friend got one for me from her store.  It is fabulous it is a big foamy, rubbery type mat that you stick under your stamping projects and it helps your images come out better (it is the same size as the grid paper that I use from Stampin’ Up!).  It is really neat and I cannot wait to really get a chance to play with it.  I have just a few things left in the other room, then we are painting it barely banana (although the store called it something different it matches our color perfectly).  So hopefully by this weekend we can have it finished and I can unpack my stamping stuff into a corner of my bedroom.  I can’t wait.

Birthday Blog Candy

Today I officially hit the age when women start to lie about their age.  Although my kids were kind enough this morning to say that I am still a spring chicken and daddy is still older than me.  So today I will show you the last birthday card from my card class before I head into the former office/ disaster zone to do some more work on changing it into a bedroom.

Birthday Blog Candy (A bit late)

but better late than never right? I had a wonderful relaxing weekend away from home for the long weekend. I had typed up this post with the hopes of having it auto post while I was gone but didn't have any luck. I had tried it out last week and I guess that blogger is not set up for that type of stuff and I had to post it manually. So I saved it to a thumb drive and of course left it in the computer so I couldn't post from a different computer while I was away. I am still getting the hang of this whole blogging thing and still have some more learning to do. I now realize that I could have typed it as a draft and avoided all of the problems, so I know that for next time. It is always crazy trying to catch up after being gone even for such a short time.

The card for today is a case from Andrea Walford's blog. All I did was change the flower stamp that was used (because I didn't have that one) and changed the half back pearls to green dew drops. It is just a pretty card I couldn't help but post it here. I hope you enjoy it too.
