Tri-Shutter Album

I love small albums that you can take with you anywhere.  Don’t get me wrong, I still like my traditional scrapbooking in larger formats, mostly my 12 x12 stuff but I like having something I can tote along easily in my purse or easily give as a gift to family.  This project was one that I designed in mind to give to my grandmother for her birthday.

Journaling Jar

I love reading old journals to find out about life for family that has come before and think that it is a neat legacy to leave behind for my kids and future posterity.  My biggest problem is that I often struggle with things to write in my own journal.  The journal jar helps with the “writers block” so that one day someone will enjoy reading about me and you!  There are 3 different versions of prompts to suit different ages from kids, to teens and adults.  Hop on over the the Keep Calm and Ustamp On site for the journaling prompts and instructions for this project and many more!

Cards With Cool Moves

While I have been stamping some this summer, I have not been so good at taking pictures of things before mailing them out and giving them away.  I do still have a few things to show you but in the mean time I wanted to share some items from a past session of UStamp.  These projects were from the Cards With Cool Moves session.  While all of the live events and prizes are over, there is still a lot of fun to be had with over 45 project tutorials.
The first project is a set of magic cards, where when you pull the image up it will magically turn from a black and white image to a colored one!  I just love these little bunnies and am so glad that they made the cut and are around for another year.

The next project is a set of old fashioned slider cards.  The gnomes may be retired but there are many new stamp sets that would be fun to try out on a slider card in the new catalog.

The next moving project is a Jacob’s ladder.  I just loved playing with these as a kid.

The last project I created was a Never Ending Card.  I hate paying extra for postage and that is exactly what you have to do with a 6x6 card, which the traditional Never Ending Card is.  So it took a while but I figured out the dimensions to make it a traditional sized card and turned it into a fun birthday invitation.

Its not too late to get these tutorials and many more!

Keep Calm and UStamp on

Yes I know I am a bad, bad blogger.  I am really enjoying my summer with the kids and all of the extra fun is not leaving much time for blogging.  I have been stamping just not posting any of it on here so I have quite a bit to share with you.  Well we are just finishing up another round of UStamp and I realized I have not shared any of them with your for a while.
I created three projects for this round.  My first project to post was a card set with a shoe box style box for the cards, using the stamp set from the new catalog called Bootiful Occasions.  This stamp set just called out to me as a must have.
