Holiday Exchange Assignment #5

The next assignment we had was to create an ornament for our partners.  I love the glittered ball ornaments but I didn't quite know how to make one.  I researched it and found several different ways to make them but I didn’t know which way was best so I went with something that seemed a little less daunting to me, an ornament made completely out of paper.

Holiday EX #5 I used the Merry Moments DSP from the current Stampin’ Up! catalog.  I painted the inside of each cone with shimmer paint as well as the red scallop in the middle of the ornament.  This is a simple project but a little time consuming.  It was fun to make and I will definitely be making more of these soon!  I found the idea from Katie Renz.

Paper:  Merry Moments DSP

Accessories:  Red Grosgrain Ribbon, Champagne Shimmer Paint

Tools: Crop-a-dile, 1 inch circle punch, scallop circle punch, circle scissor plus with glass mat
