DCBD Challenge #153

I cannot believe it is already Wednesday again.  I do not know where all of the time went (well I know a lot of it was spent in waiting rooms but where did the rest go?)  Time for another fabulous sketch challenge from the Diva Coffee Break Design team blog.  Here is this weeks sketch.

DCBD153 This was a fun sketch for me.  I had just pulled out my Circle Scissors Plus from Stampin’ Up! again recently after putting it in the back of the closet so I was excited to get to use it some more.  It is a fun tool to use.  I wanted to work on a few more fall-ish themed items before I went full speed ahead into Christmas so I pulled out Dusty Durango and Crushed Curry and went to work.  This is what I ended up with.

I really like Kraft cardstock and definitely do not use it enough.   I masked off a few of the trees to give it the overlapping look.  The ground, even though you really can’t see it in this picture, was made using close to cocoa and chocolate chip chalks and a sponge dauber.  Now that I am taking another look at this card I think that the colors were actually from a previous DCBD color challenge.  It must have really stuck with me.   Remember to stop on by the Diva Coffee Break Blog to check out what the other Diva’s have created and then play along and link your creation to the blog so we call all see!
