July 1st is always a busy day for me. Of course it is the day that we get to see the new Stampin’ Up! catalog and the stamping year starts over. It also happens to be my anniversary and my Mormor’s birthday(grandmother in Swedish). Yesterday we celebrated our 9th anniversary and my husband was actually able to take the entire day off! It was so nice to have a fun day with him. We spent the morning with the kids since they don't see much of their daddy right now and then the afternoon and evening was kid free! It really was a wonderful day.
This is the card that I made for my dh. It was really hard but I tried to keep it simple and masculine. Of course now most of this is retired. (I am currently mourning the loss of my beautiful kiwi kiss.)

Happy Anniversary! You did a great job on dh's card. Guy cards are so hard to make. I'm going to miss the old in-colors too!
Really nice masculine card. I have some friends that are Swedish and thought their "system" for naming grandparents was always very cool. Mormor- mom's mom. Farfar (sp?)- dad's dad, morfar-mom's dad, farmor-dad's mom. I think this is the way it is, right?
Of course, I could have totally made that up in a dream or something!!!!!
Baja Breeze would be the color I am going to miss most. That's weird because I generally likes greens instead of blues.
So neat. I love the card and use of the top note...kiwi kiss is remembered fondly in my heart.
simple card that looks wonderful! I love how blended it looks!
This is beautiful! So clean and simple and wonderful for a manly card.
Happy anniversary to you both. This card just took my breath away and could be used for so many occassions by simply changing the sentiment. Nice job,,,, I feel a case coming on......
