As I promised, I have the details on the sets of thank you cards that we gave to the teachers. It was late on Thursday night and I was at a loss trying to come up with a simple and cute idea for mass producing some cards for teachers. I decided to check 2 websites and I only allowed myself 15 minutes to find something then I would have to just do something else. I was so low on time I didn't know what to do and knew that I could spend hours looking at all of the wonderful cards. As it turned out I only needed one website and about 30 seconds. I went to Angie’s blog and she had just recently posted a set of thank you cards that was perfect. I completely cased them other than using different designer paper. I couldn't believe how fast they came together, I made 36 cards in one hour and 12 minutes from start to finish. That includes all of the scoring, cutting, punching piercing etc. The only problem was I didn't realize how low my paper stash has gotten. I am now down to just two full sheets of whisper white 4 sheets of very vanilla, 3 sheets of chocolate chip and I could go on and on, ack! I just didn't have enough of the colors I wanted so I had to improvise and stretch things a bit. The thank you images are stamped on shimmery white cardstock, one of the few things I am not too low on, so they have a nice little sparkle in real life.
