Ribbon Roses!

I just completed a swap where we were supposed to use an accessory like a brad, button or ribbon in a different way that we usually do.  It was not to reinvent the wheel but to stretch your creativity a bit.  I had a hard time but when I came up with my idea I loved it.  I of course had to use ribbon because it is my favorite accessory.  I had found a way to make a mini “origami” rose out of the ribbon that you use to wrap presents.  I am not sure if it is real origami or if that is just what that person was calling it.  It took a while to figure out how to do it because the instructions were written with no pictures but I finally got it.  I am going to have to make more of them to use to make some more hair bows for my girls.  Back to the card.  Here is what it looks like.

Ribbon RosesI was so proud of my little rose I wanted it to be the star of the card and went pretty simple with the rest of it.  I had a hard time trying to find a sentiment that I wanted to put on it so I used one that could go a few ways, either congrats or thank you.

Ok, way cute! Can you email me the instructions for the rose? Though I don't know that I'd be able to figure it out without pictures. Pretty amazing!

Thank you so much for the tutorial. Seeing it being made is so much easier for me than reading step-by-step instrustion. I also loved hearing the baby in the background.
