TINY and BIG are all the rage now and since it is National Scrapbooking Month, I couldn't keep myself from re-creating and sharing one of my favorite mini scrapbooks!

 

  It is a mini Matchbook style scrapbook!
 

 

It is such a wonderful way to tuck a small little keepsake in your purse or bag to keep the memory close at hand.  My kids also love them because they are designed around a Wallet sized photo.  They collect the pics from their friends at school and we turn it into an autograph/address book to keep in touch over the summer.

Time doesn’t just fly by…

…it zooms.  I can’t believe it has been so long since I have posted here.  I actually got so busy with things I pretty much forgot I had a blog.  We have still been waiting for the after holiday slow down to hit, and we still are.  I have a bit of a break this week but the kids are out of school for the whole week, so we will have to see what I can get done. 

So much has happened I don’t really know where to start.  That and I do not have that many photos of my latest projects because most of them were finished up minutes before giving them away.  I do have pictures of several UStamp With Dawn and Friends!! projects that I can share with you.  Speaking of UStamp we are in the middle of another FABOLOUS session.  This one is all about the BIG SHOT!

I also showed some of our “hair pretties”.  My girls love wearing bows and flowers in their hair but I hate paying store prices for them because they are always loosing them or ruining them, so I had to figure a way to make some cheaper.  And here are a few of them:

Up on the Rooftop Blog Hop

My project is a Love and Joy Stocking banner. As soon as I saw the Stocking Builder Punch and coordinating Holiday Stocking Bigz die in the Holiday Mini catalog I knew that I needed to make a banner using them both.

Each stocking is unique just like the stockings our family has, each unique to its owner.  The letters sparkle right off of the stocking in person as they are coated with a few layers of Dazzling Details glitter glue.  Of course all things at Christmas need to be tied up with pretty bows, so each stocking is hung with care by a bow. 

 The ends of the banner are anchored with a shimmery snowflake poinsettia.
